Notable Medical Doctors
Physicians and researchers whose named frameworks, protocols, and hypotheses shaped the natural-health conversation. Each hub documents what the doctor actually taught, what the published evidence supports, and where mainstream medicine agrees and disagrees — so you can read the claims and the counter-claims in one place.
These pages are biographies of ideas as much as of people. Some of the figures here made contributions that conventional medicine has since absorbed; others advanced hypotheses that remain contested or rejected. In every case the format is the same: the claims are documented faithfully, the evidence tier is labeled honestly, and documented harms and mainstream rebuttals sit beside the claims rather than in a footnote. Inclusion in this section is not an endorsement.
The Doctors
- Dr. Abram Hoffer — Orthomolecular Psychiatry & High-Dose Vitamins — Canadian psychiatrist and biochemist (1917–2009) who co-founded orthomolecular medicine: the idea that some illnesses can be influenced by adjusting concentrations of substances naturally present in the body, especially vitamin B3 (niacin) and vitamin C. Covers the adrenochrome hypothesis of schizophrenia he developed with Humphry Osmond, the 1950s Saskatchewan niacin trials, his vitamin C practice (about 3 g/day alongside B3), his later collaboration with Linus Pauling recommending 12+ g/day vitamin C for cancer patients as an adjunct to conventional treatment, the observational survival analyses and their acknowledged limits, and the failed replications that left his stronger claims outside mainstream psychiatry
- Dr. Bryan Ardis — The Nicotine Hypothesis & COVID Lies — Extensive hub documenting Dr. Bryan Ardis’s pandemic-era research and his 2023 book COVID Lies. Nine deep-dive sub-articles on the book chapter-by-chapter, the core nicotine hypothesis (Changeux/Pasteur Institute, the smoker’s paradox, the cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway), the α7-nAChR receptor pharmacology, the Watch the Water synthetic-venom-peptide hypothesis with mainstream rebuttals, the 7/14/21 mg transdermal patch protocol, the vaccine-injury recovery protocol phase-by-phase, the remdesivir-and-ventilator critique, the NAC / dandelion / pine-needle / methylene-blue detox stack, and the historical case for therapeutic nicotine from Indigenous medicine through the 1964 Surgeon General report. Includes a freedom-of-research editorial frame and a labeled mainstream-agrees / mainstream-disagrees discussion
- Morley Robbins & the Root Cause Protocol — Comprehensive hub on Morley Robbins’s mineral-balancing framework focused on bioavailable copper, ceruloplasmin, magnesium, and iron dysregulation. Ten deep-dive sub-articles on the RCP Stops & Starts, copper–iron dysregulation, ceruloplasmin biology and the bioavailable-copper calculation, hidden iron overload, the magnesium silent epidemic, the vitamin D controversy, whole-food copper sources (beef liver, oysters, cacao, bee pollen), the adrenal cortisol–mineral connection with the Adrenal Cocktail recipe, a chapter-by-chapter summary of his 2021 book Cure Your Fatigue, and the glyphosate–copper chelation cascade driving copper deficiency in the food supply
Doctor-Named Protocols Elsewhere on This Site
Some physicians are covered through the protocol that carries their name rather than a biography hub. Gerson Therapy documents Dr. Max Gerson’s 1930s nutritional and detoxification protocol with eleven sub-articles, including its cancer claims and published critiques. As new practitioner hubs are added, they will appear in this section.
How These Pages Are Written
- Claims are documented, not endorsed. Each hub states what the doctor taught in their own framing, with sources.
- Evidence tiers are labeled. A double-blind trial, an observational survival analysis, and a hypothesis are different things, and the pages say which is which.
- Every hub carries a “Where Mainstream Medicine Agrees / Disagrees” pair of sections so the reader sees both the strongest version of the claim and the strongest version of the counter-argument.
- Documented harms sit beside the claims. Dosing caveats, drug interactions, and safety signals are stated in the same breath as the proposed benefits.
