Everyone in this group is a Nobel laureate in Physiology or Medicine, grouped by what the prize was awarded for. Prizes for a machine or a procedure rather than a discovery — the ECG, the CT scanner, MRI, cardiac catheterisation, transplantation and IVF. Several of these laureates never treated a patient.
